KMGrafix was founded by Kevin McMahon, a computer graphics professional with experience in web design, illustration, multimedia, digital video and photography. Kevin has lived in Florida for most of his life and he is currently located in Lake Worth, FL.
In his youth, Kevin was recognized as a budding artist. Always drawing and painting from his imagination, he later received formal training in art attending the University of South Florida. While at USF, Kevin studied printmaking under master printer and artist Theo Wujcik and has a solid grounding in design concepts and artistic principles.
in the 1990's, Kevin got his start as a computer artist working at IBM corporation's Boca Raton, FL campus. At IBM, Kevin was a graphic design consultant and created designs that became part of IBM's PC product lineup. As he began creating art with computers he quickly found he was very good at this new medium, garnering several awards for illustration and graphics for IBM's publications.
While working stints in marketing for corporate clients, Kevin got into building website designs for several high profile entities. He designed websites and graphics for IDG Books, G & J Engineering, and the rock band Kansas. Kevin next honed his layout skills in the advertising field and blazed a trail into building many exciting multimedia projects for clients such as PlasticFab, City of Boynton Beach, ArcStone and Florida Public Utilities. Later, he developed user interfaces and helped create data driven websites for companies in the real estate arena, such as Homesteps.com and BKklistings.com. He also developed and trained staff on building online training certification courses and instructional videos for Active Data Technologies.
